Description :

1. Raw material for cement manufacturing is excavated crushed and ground. During the whole processing depending on the design of the plant different types of crushers and grinding machines are used. The main reason for high wear and tear in a cement plant is due to high stress abrasion. The wear rate is also dependent on the hardness of the raw material being processed.
2. The finished row material is further processed to get the final product as cement. The major equipment employed for production is the rotating kiln. All the components associated with kiln are always in motion hence wears our due to metal to metal adhesion under high load.
