Description :

1. UP-PLATE is a smooth, dense; chromium carbide rich alloy overlay plate manufactured by an exclusive process.
2. The up-plate product, which is produced under rigid quality controls, enables a homogeneous alloy overlay to be smoothly bonded to mild or alloy steel backing with a metallurgical bond.
3. Within design criteria, this bond will withstand rolling or pressing that may be required in the fabrication of various wear liner shapes.
4. Up-plate also resists impact associated with many applications without fracturing and spalling of the alloy overlay.
5. Up-plate can be readily welded to form larger sheets and cut, pressed and rolled to form complex shapes without losing its wear-resistant qualities.
6. Reduction of downtime is a major contributor to the economical use of this product. Deposits are smooth, with uniform carbide distribution throughout the overlay. Up-plate has incomparable alloy hardness, matrix toughness, carbide density and homogeneity and surface smoothness.
