    Capabilities Hub

A unique feature at MTA2015, the Capabilities Hub was developed in collaboration with the Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology (SIMTech) where local parts & components manufacturers and service providers who serve the high-value manufacturing sectors such as Aerospace, Complex Equipment, Oil & Gas and Medical Technology showcased their manufacturing competencies.

Not only did this feature area bring the key buyers closer to the exhibitors, it also created an opportunity for networking and exchange of knowledge amongst the like-minded industry professionals.

    3D Printing @ MTA

Leading brands in 3D printing shared with visitors who were eager to learn more about the latest developments and industrial applications of the technology which is making waves in recent years.

The 3D printing technology tour which was conducted twice daily was highly popular with the visitors. These guided tours brought visitors through live demonstrations and presentations conducted by exhibitors representing brands such as 3D Systems, Arcam, EnvisionTEC, EOS, Renishaw and Stratasys.

Adding on to the excitement was the display of the 3D Printed Aircraft which was designed and built by the Additive Manufacturing Innovation Centre (AMIC) from Nanyang Polytechnic and the 3D Printed Concept Car (NTU Venture 8) which was created by the Singapore Centre for 3D Printing (SC3DP). Both exhibits captured the attention of many visitors.
