PTFE Seals are suitable for use in harsh environment with temperatures ranging from cryogenic to 300℃ in combination with highly aggressive media. Some of the benefits of PTFE are higher speed capability, lower coefficient of friction, low wear, both high and low extreme temperature capability. Mixing virgin PTFE powder with different fillers gives PTFE specific properties. PTFE seals can withstand high pressures, high temperatures and high shaft runout, and they offer excellent resistance to most chemicals and fluids.
