HDBaseT 3.0 HDMI KVM Extender, True 4K HDMI KVM Extender over CAT.x with Audio, Serial, USB, EGBMU-3010 can transmit uncompressed 4K 60Hz video through single CAT.6A and CAT.7 cable up to 90-100 meters, with USB 2.0, Serial signals.
Rextron HDBaseT 3.0 HDMI KVM Extender allows users to extend the HDMI video at the best quality without any compromise. HDBaseT 3.0 technology offers unique uncompressed 18G HDMI 2.0 extension capability and offers convenient local video output / remote video return function for users.
The HDBaseT 3.0 HDMI KVM Extender supports HDCP 2.2, ( High-Bandwidth Digital Content Production ) is almost compatible with 4K UHD contents. Most of Rextron HDMI KVM extenders and Video extenders support HDCP 2.2 and particularly backward-compatible with the previous version. That means you can connect older sources to a new 4K TV under HD streaming with no HDCP 2.x to 1.x converter in between. Rextron video extender supports HDCP key to ensure uninterrupted video playback at all times.
Embedded audio extension function within the HDBaseT 3.0 HDMI KVM Extender and Video Extender can independently transmit the audio signal from the Transmitter unit to the output of the Receiver unit, the separate audio source channel provides the second audio transmission that would be beneficial for the content creator in video postproduction or emergency situation for notifying users of the computer or server room operation issues.
HDBaseT 3.0 HDMI KVM Extender's Full-Duplex Data Communication between Tx & Rx via CAT.x cable and Fiber cable connection is a cost-effective, hardware-based solution providing remote access and control for all RS-232 protocol devices with no need for any setup or configuration. RS-232 serial extension is very common to be applied in Digital Signage, Smart Classroom, and Smart Home system.
HDBaseT 3.0 HDMI KVM Extender's USB 2.0 extension function enables users to transmit USB 2.0 signals over CATx or fiber cable with downward compatibility eliminating 5 meters distance limitation of USB, and the function features USB peripherals sharing capability without any software or driver installation. Dedicated USB 2.0 port designed on the front and rear side of the extender unit is suitable for both long-term and temporary USB peripherals access.
