Description :
1. The CAT5 RS232 Extender is a low cost hardware solutionthat will extend your RS232 (serial / DB-9) using a single standard CAT5 / CAT5e / CAT6 UTP cable. It provides full-duplex remote access and control of any RS232 protocoldevice. The CAT5 RS232 Extender kit consists of a local transmitter (AV-232-T) and remote receiver (AV-232-R).
2. It provides you with a tremendous amount of flexibility inyour installation. You can place RS232 devices in any location you want and control them remotely up to 1000 meters (3300 feet).
