Description :
The ACI FR-5019 forward optical receiver uses a highly linear InGaAs pin diode as light detector, for converting the optical signal into RF signal. The gain control can be set to automatic or manual by the button on the front panel. There are two receivers in one unit which provide redundancy function for higher network reliability. The main applications are as the following: sub head-end or hub broadcasting receiver, head-end to head-end program exchange receiver, transmission of video and sound through hybrid fiber coaxial (HFC) networks.
