1. Red yeast rice (monascus): Lower the levels of triglyceride and cholesterol. It contains several active ingredients including lovastatin, and conducts significant reduction of serum total cholesterol levels, triglycerides levels, and LDL-cholesterol levels, and increases of HDL-cholesterol levels. 2. Hawthorn fruit: strengthen the stomach and improve digestion. Many types of extract from it posses cardiac stimulant effect. Total flavonoid can improve the amount of coronary circulation, anti lack of oxygen of cardiac muscles, anti-arrhythmia.
