Description :

1. IEEE802.3z/AB 1000Mbps Gigabit Ethernet supports two types of media for network connection such as 1000Base-T and 1000Base-SX/LX.
2. AM-C301/AU-C301 media converter is designed to connect these two types of segments to operate smoothly.
3. AM-C301 can be used as a standalone unit or as a slide-in module to the Ruby Tech CR-10xx 19" converter rack(up to 10 units) for use at a central wiring closet.

AU-C301 is a module type converter and is flexible to be installed in the 19" converter rack (up to 16 units) for use at a central wiring closet. The converter rack CR-16xx and CP-100/200 family are available for housing the converter modules.
